WINDSOR, Colo. — For the first time in his Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC career, defender Arthur Rogers has been named the USL League One Player of the Week for Week 18.
Rogers played all 90 minutes in both of Hailstorm FC’s matches this week, helping the club earn wins over One Knoxville SC and Union Omaha.
The highlight of Rogers’ week came against Knoxville, when he had just the fifth three-assist performance in USL League One history. He found Trevor Amann with a long through ball for Hailstorm’s first goal of the night and followed that by connecting with Bruno Rendon on a pair of free kicks to help Hailstorm FC to a 4-2 win and the top of the USL League One table.
He now leads USL League One with seven assists for the season.
Rogers created four chances in the two matches, moving his league-leading total to 41 for the season. He also won seven duels, made five clearances, and had a pair of interceptions.
This also marks Rogers’ sixth Team of the Week selection this season for Rogers, who was the 2022 USL League One Defender of the Year.
Rogers and Hailstorm FC return to Future Legends Field to take on Richmond Kickers at 7 p.m. Saturday.
