WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC’s three most prolific Team of the Week honorees were all named in the final USL League One Team of the Week for the regular season.
Defender Arthur Rogers was named in the Team of the Week for the 12th time this season after Saturday’s 3-1 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. He created five chances in the match, extending his USL League One single-season record to 88. He also made three tackles and a clearance in the win.
Bruno Rendon made the Team of the Week for the ninth time this season. Rendon scored his fifth goal of 2023 in the 42nd minute to extend the Hailstorm lead to 2-0. He added three chances created along with a pair of clearances and interceptions.
Golden Boot winner Trevor Amann was in his 11th team of the week, this time not for his goal scoring prowess but for his creativity. Amann assisted on each of Hailstorm’s first two goals against Chattanooga, bringing his assist total on the season to three.
All three players will be back on the pitch this Saturday for Hailstorm’s first round playoff match against Forward Madison FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Future Legends Field.
