WINDSOR, Colo. – Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC announced today that they have re-signed midfielder Jackson Dietrich for the 2023 season.
Dietrich was a late addition to the team in 2022, signing with the team in late July. He had previously played under assistant coach Kevin Swachak at the Chattanooga Red Wolves in 2021.
“[Jackson] came in late in the season and had to catch up on fitness, so we just saw glimpses of him,” Head Coach Eamon Zayed said. “I’m excited to see what he can show with a full pre-season in his legs.”
After joining the team, Dietrich played in 11 games for Northern Colorado. Zayed frequently used him as a substitute, bringing him in as fresh legs in the second half. He started only two games.
Now, Dietrich is hungry to build on his 2022 performance and make more of an impact in 2023.
“I’m beyond excited to be back in Northern Colorado next season,” Dietrich said. “I can’t wait to get back and make a huge impact this season and do everything we can to bring home a championship.”
