WINDSOR, Colo. — For the fourth consecutive week, at least three Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC players have been named in the USL League One Team of the Week, with Arthur Rogers, Bruno Rendon, and Billy King earning honors after Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Lexington SC.
Rendon earned a spot in the Team of the Week for the second straight week and third time overall this season after scoring his first Hailstorm FC goal late in the first half against Lexington. He also won six duels and had three clearances and tackles.
It was also a third Team of the Week selection in 2023 for Rogers, who tallied his third assist of the season and had a pair of chances created, bringing his total to 100 for his Hailstorm career. Defensively, he won 10 duels and five tackles and also had three interceptions.
The in-form King scored for the second straight match against Lexington, earning the Scotsman Team of the Week honors for the third time in four weeks.
Hailstorm players will have two matches to prove their Team of the Week credentials, the first of those coming at 7 p.m. Mountain time on Wednesday against the Richmond Kickers at Future Legends Field.
