WINDSOR, Colo. — Four points from two matches in Week 17 meant four Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC players in USL League One’s Team of the Week.
Forward Trevor Amann headlined the four selections, earning his second career Player of the Week honor after scoring three goals in two games, including the game winner against Charlotte. He leads the USL League One Golden Boot race with 11 goals this season.
Joining Amann in the Team of the Week is midfielder Arthur Rogers, who created seven chances in the two matches and assisted on Amann’s second goal against Charlotte. He now leads the team and is tied for second in the league with four assists this season.
Bruno Rendon is in the Team of the Week for the fifth time this season. In two matches the Hailstorm defender created three chances, had three interceptions, and won five tackles and 16 duels.
Last but not least, forward Valentín Sabella is in the Team of the Week for the first time in his Hailstorm career. Sabella had an assist, his first of the season, against Chattanooga and created four chances in the two games.
Hailstorm FC are back in action tonight One Knoxville SC for a scheduled 5:30 p.m. Mountain time kick off. The game against Knoxville will be streamed live on ESPN+.
