WINDSOR, Colo — Four points from two matches earned Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC four spots in the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 24.
Goalkeeper Lalo Delgado has been named in the team of the week for the sixth time this year. He made eight saves in the two matches this week, including stopping a Kazaiah Sterling penalty, gaining ground in the race for the league’s Golden Glove award.
Arthur Rogers makes the team of the week for the seventh time this season and 13th time in his Hailstorm career. Rogers had a pair of assists in Hailstorm’s 2-2 draw against South Georgia Tormenta FC, bringing his total to 10 for the season and breaking his own club record for a single season.
With a match-winning goal against North Carolina FC, defender Bruno Rendon is in the team of the week for the eighth time this season. He also won nine duels, made three clearances, and created a chance in Hailstorm’s 2-1 win.
Also making his eighth team of the week this season is forward Trevor Amann. The USL League One Golden Boot leader tied the league’s single-season record with his 18th goal of the season against NCFC.
All four players will be in action when Hailstorm FC take on Charlotte Independence Sunday at Future Legends Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. Mountain time.
