WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC announces the retention of three players on existing contracts for the 2024 season.
Forward Irvin Parra, midfielder McCain Clarke, and defender Brecc Evans are all returning to Northern Colorado after signing multi-year contracts prior to the 2023 season.
Parra, Hailstorm’s second-leading scorer all time, played in just 10 games in 2023 after beating cancer. He scored his only goal of the season in the regular season finale against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. Parra led Hailstorm with 11 goals in 2022 and was named to the All-USL League One Second Team.
Clarke, a Colorado native, became Hailstorm’s youngest-ever player when he made his debut at age 18 in 2023. He appeared in 10 games for Hailstorm, all as a substitute.
A former USL League One champion, Evans will enter his third season with Hailstorm in 2024. He played in 24 games for Northern Colorado in 2023, starting 19 of them as a key part of the back line that produced the best defensive record in the league.
