WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC kept their 2024 preseason record perfect with a 7-0 win over Peak XI Friday at Future Legends Complex.
Hailstorm got out of the blocks quickly, scoring five times in the first half. Four of those goals came from trialists, with forward Billy King scoring the other. Defender McCain Clarke had a hat trick of assists before halftime, as well.
Northern Colorado added two more in the second half through midfielder Marky Hernández and defender Bruno Rendon to run away with the 7-0 victory.
Hailstorm continue their preseason Saturday with a trip to take on the Colorado Springs Switchbacks. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
