WINDSOR, Colo. — Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC head coach Éamon Zayed has been named USL League One Coach of the Month for October.
It is Zayed’s third career Coach of the Month honor.
“Although it’s an individual award by name, we always have a team first mentality and this award highlights the efforts of the team and the players,” Zayed said.
Hailstorm won all five of their matches in October, scoring nine times and conceding just once en route to clinching the second seed in the USL League One Playoffs. Three of Hailstorm’s wins were over fellow playoff teams Charlotte Independence, Spokane Velocity FC, and Forward Madison FC.
Zayed is the sixth coach in league history to win three Coach of the Month honors. He previously won the award in May and September of 2023.
