With the NISA Pro Cup ready to start October 13th, Hailstorm FC has begun to announce which athletes will be putting on a Hailstorm kit. These players include:
Yohance Douglas – Right and Left Winger/Striker/Wingback
From Ossining, New York, Yohance has represented the Guyana U-20 National Team and the Guyana Senior National Team internationally. At the collegiate level, I played NCAA Division I soccer for Marist University and Bradley University. In USL League Two, I’ve competed with Morris Elite FC in 2024 and Pathfinder FC in 2023.
Tanner Kennard – Goalkeeper
Tanner Kennard is currently based in Baltimore, Maryland and plays for Christos FC. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah Kennard has played for several USL2 teams including Park City Red Wolves and in 2021 won the Mountain Division. In 2018-2019 Kennard spent the year playing in England. He was invited to play with Syracuse Pulse in 2022 and has been invited for trials with teams such as Austin FC II and Halifax Wanderers in CPL
Ahmad Saidy – Center Midfielder/Defensive Midfielder
A professional soccer player going into his 4th year. Ahmad spent his last season in the Philippines Football League (top league), ending the season with 5 goals and 2 assists. He also has played for Prey Veng FC and the Cambodian Premier League, Nara United in Thailand as well as the Gambia National Team
Rockshell Antwi – Center Back
A left-footed center back, Rockshell played D1 at Wofford College in 2018, then transferred to Niagara University in the Spring of 2019. He then went to Spain to play for a Segunda Division club called Sabadell in Barcelona, then traveled to Ghana, West Africa, to play in the GPL, also known as the Ghana Premier League, with a team called KingFaisal FC in 2023. Most recently he spet summer 2025 with the Hill Country Lobos (USL2)
Nathan Yared – Center Attacking Midfielder/Winger
Born and raised in Springfield, Virginia. Nathan played four years at Shenandoah University, breaking the record and becoming the all time goal scorer. He then took his talents to Iceland and played for KF Fjallabyggð
Carlos Valenzuela – Left Winger/Center Attacking Midfielder
Born in Tijuana Baja California on July 7th 2001, Carlos has played professionally with Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, Tbilisiand as well in in Mexico for Correcaminos Uat in México in Liga Expansion Mx which is Mexico’s second division.
Isaiah Abraham – Center Midfielder
From Brooklyn, New York, Abraham played academy with BW gottschee, D1 college for St. Francis, as well as semi pro in Malaga, Spain,and most recently with Tampa Bay Rowdies 2
Shaquille Blackstock – Right Back, Left Back, Center Midfielder
From Jamaica, Blackstock played in the Jamaica Premier League and previously won the UPSL National Championship with AS Frenzi and most recently spent time with the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Travis Ward – Winger/Outside Back
Ward is from the New Egypt section of Plumsted Township, New Jersey and brings a great amount of experience. At Rowan University, he made 72 appearances, scoring 29 goals and adding 17 assists. He earned All-NJAC honors three times and played a key role in the team’s success. After college, Ward continued playing with the Greenville Triumph, Chattanooga FC, Maryland Bobcats, Stumptown AC (Captain), and Michigan Stars.
Brady Rimple – Goalkeeper
Rimple is from Allentown, Pennsylvania and played 3 seasons at Bloomsburg University where he gathered an impressive resume. Division 2 First Team All American, Division 2 First team All Atlantic Region,1st team All Psac, 2024 PSAC Tournament MVP, School record holder for Career and single season shutouts, School record holder for Career Goal Against Average and single season Goal Against Average
Jefri Vasquez – Left Winger/Left Back and Right Back
Vasquez trained at the Tormenta FC academy and played for 2 years in MLS Next. Most recently he has been a part of the Coastal King FC club.
Jake Fitzgerald – Center Midfielder
From Yuma, Arizona. Fitzgerald has played for a few different USL2 teams over the past couple years including FC Tucson, AZ Arsenal, and Stars FC. He also played NCAA Division 1 ball at Cal State University Bakersfield and then transferred over to D2 University Colorado Colorado Springs.
Ethan Russ – Center Midfeilder
Ethan, twin brother of Aaron Russ, both played for JK Tallinna Kalev in Estonia and Boden City in Sweden. During their time at the two clubs, they were promoted 3 times, won 2 league titles, and 1 cup trophy.
Aaron Russ – Left Winger and Right Winger
Aaron, twin brother of Ethan Russ, both played for JK Tallinna Kalev in Estonia and Boden City in Sweden. During their time at the two clubs, they were promoted 3 times, won 2 league titles, and 1 cup trophy.
Christian Waegelin – Left Back/Right Back and Center Midfielder
Born in Atlanta but grew up in Lisbon, Portugal until he was 16. Abraham moved back to the US for college, where he played for and captained Oglethorpe University to 3 NCAA tournaments appearances. After college, he played for the Ga Revolution and reached the NPSL national semifinal. He also played for the Syracuse Pulse then played for VfB Marburg in the Hessenliga (German 5th division) while also spending time in TST with Pasha Luxury FC the last 2 seasons.
James Parks
A native from Windsor, Colorado, the young defender most recently played with the NoCo Hailstorm as an academy signing, then spent time with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks 2
Daniel Hernandez Jr
Another Northern Colorado local who attended Fossil Ridge High School, Daniel was a part of Hailstorm FC’s regular season championship team this past summer in The League for Clubs and has also spent time with Real Colorado in MLS Next
Chris Mckenna
From Glasgow, Scotland, Chris moved to the states and has played for the University of Mobile, East Tennessee State where he was part of the SoCon regular season champion team & gained first team all conference honors, UAB and most recently, Sporting Jax, winning the Southeast Division
